The Vibe!

Luxurious, Secluded, Peaceful

About This Stay

Tucked into the rolling granite country just outside Tenterfield, Mirumiru Bubbletent offers a stay that feels genuinely different to anything else in the region. At Mirumiru, the landscape does much of the work for you. Days are shaped by fresh high-country air, wide skies and open space; nights are all about stars.

Each Bubbletent is designed to let you sleep beneath the Milky Way, watching constellations drift overhead from the comfort of a real bed. It’s a quietly romantic setting for couples looking to slow down and reconnect, while still being relaxed and practical enough for guests wanting a memorable outdoor escape that doesn’t involve roughing it.

The experience here is about choice. Stay in and enjoy a fully self-catered glamping setup, where you can cook, unwind and settle into the rhythm of the property. Or head into town – just ten minutes away – where Tenterfield offers a mix of welcoming cafés, traditional country pubs, and a standout wine bar and restaurant that regularly surprises first-time visitors. You’re close enough to enjoy dinner out, yet far enough away to return to complete quiet and dark skies.

Cathryn

When we first saw our farm it was at the end of one of the region’s most crippling droughts – and during the bushfire season of 2019. The farmhouse was yet to be renovated – and was totally unliveable. And the farm itself was mostly bare dirt, with empty dams and hardly any grass to be seen. But the view was something that had us transfixed from the moment we saw it online and then in person. We looked at each other and knew that we could work our way through the thistles and termite-ridden buildings. In a matter of weeks, the farm was ours and our vision for re-generating a little part of Australia began. It was important for us to build something that everyone – from couples to families – could enjoy as well.
