Welcome to Two Peas in a Pod, a private bush retreat on the slopes of Mt Kaukau in Wellington. Our unique, purpose-built pods are nestled amongst native bush and overlook the Mt Kaukau Nature Reserve. Relax on your private deck, soak in your NZ-made outdoor cedar bath, and enjoy visits from native birds including tūī, kākā, kererū, and fantails. With walking tracks right on your doorstep and Wellington CBD just 15-20 minutes away by car or train, you’ll enjoy the perfect mix of nature and city convenience. Each pod is completely self-contained, offering luxury, privacy, and a peaceful escape surrounded by native New Zealand bush. Note: Our pods are nestled on the hillside amongst a peaceful native bush and are only accessible via a garden pathway that includes a flight of stairs and a short uphill walk. While most guests enjoy this scenic approach, the property is not suitable for those with limited mobility. If mobility is a concern, please consider this in your booking.
